Prairie Wind Hunting Club is located near Arlington, Kansas, approximately 50 miles west of Wichita and 35 miles southwest of Hutchinson, Kansas in Reno County. Reno County supports some of the premier Trophy Whitetail hunting in Kansas.

 Joe bags a nice 260lb Whitetail deer PWHC has six superior hunting areas consisting of owned properties and exclusive leases totaling nearly 1100 acres in Unit 15 and is currently negotiating additional leases. Ladder stands, tripod stands. Box stands, and climber stands are installed and/or provided. Hunters are encouraged to bring their own favorite stands, if desired. This year PWHC will be featuring, for a limited number of hunters, the innovative "Guido’s Web" tree stand, perhaps the safest and most versatile bow and gun tree stand available on the market today. PWHC is currently accepting reservations for Black Powder, Archery, and Gun seasons, booking no more than four to five hunters at any given time. PWHC provides overnight accommodations for up to four hunters on-site in newly renovated and expanded hunting quarters. The hunting packages include overnight accommodations and you are invited to join us for all meals. It has been our practice to feature wild game for the main meal each day including venison, pheasant, quail....

Call now for pricing on one to seven day hunts. Bookings of four hunters will receive a 10% discount for each hunter if made at the same time. Hunting packages are subject to applicable taxes.
An online application process will be used for the 2009 nonresident deer permit draw. Apply for Unit 15. You will need to identify which season (Powder, Bow, or Gun) you want to hunt. Applicants may apply online beginning May 1 at https://www4.wildlifelicense.com/ks/start. Dead line for application is June 1. If you are not drawn for Unit 15, call me and I may be able to get your permit in Unit 15 via a "loop hole"!  Jason's 216 inch Trophy Whitetail  9 points of proud Whitetail beauty The taking of a 19-point non-typical Trophy Whitetail, green scoring 216 inches gross, highlighted the 2008 Archery season. This was Jason’s second year hunting with PWHC, having seen at least four bucks in the 150-160 category his first year hunting with us. Needless to say, Jason was elated with his Trophy! The official Boone & Crocket score came in at 201 1/8 inches net with 12 deductible non-typical inches. Congrats, Jason!
